Prepare Me For Your Coming
"If this is the cry of your heart, this book
was written for you!"
Jesus is coming for His bride -- His "wise virgins" (Matthew 25: 1-13) When Jesus comes for His bride, will He see you as one of His "wise virgins"?
Wise virgins are those who are preparing for the "wedding of the Lamb." Wise virgins are those who yearn for the"love of their life" -- their Beloved Savior -- whose hearts and thoughts are focused on their soon-coming Bridegroom and the day when their union will be complete. The Father speaks of His precious bride in the book of Isaiah: "For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall Thy sons marry thee; and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee." (Isaiah 62:5) Scripture also speaks of the bride of Christ and the wedding of the Lamb in the book of Revelation: "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready... Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb." (Revelation 19:7,8)
Jesus has prepared a kingdom for His bride -- and the bride chamber is being filled with children. "Suffer little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the Kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, 'Whoever shall not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.'" (Luke 18:16, 17)
Use this time during these "last days" to prepare for your wedding.
Do you realize that the Father has been preparing a wedding banquet for His Son for 2,000 years! He is preparing a glorious bride -- a bride wearing garments without spot or wrinkle. God is preparing a bride for His Son. He is preparing a beautiful, surrendered, loving bride. The Holy Spirit is helping us get ready. He is showing us the pride and dignity which keep us from being completely in love with Jesus; keep us from entering into the wedding feast; keep us from entering the Kingdom of God; keep us on the sidelines while "the children" -- the childlike -- go right on in.
The truth is Satan has built strongholds of dignity and pride in the areas of life that bring God the most glory. If you find yourself having difficulty entering into the fullness of the Spirit, then it is time to leave your "self" in the pew and lift those heavy hands in worship. And if that doesn't free you and allow the Spirit to enter, then step out in faith and DANCE! Dance and give God glory with your whole being. It will set you free! You will experience a true understand of what it means to "enter" the Kingdom of God!
"Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy..." Jeremiah 31:13
The essence of this revelation is this: God is reminding us of why we are here -- and why He created us. You and I were created by God ...
to live for Him...
to worship Him...
to glorify Him!
Oh God! will help you discover the truth about what it really means to be ready as His bride -- to be ready for His wedding -- to have entered the Kingdom and be ready for His coming. If this is the cry of your heart, this book was written for you!
