David gleans his inspiration from Scripture and the human spirit. He expresses his profound appreciation for music and the arts with flow of line, two and three-dimensional geometry and subtle symbolism.

"Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow." Jer.31:13

SCULPTURE SYMBOLISM:

Time To Dance is an expression of worshiping the Creator. It embodies King David, "a man after God's own heart." King David was pleasing in the sight of the Lord. David, whose life is chronicled in the book of Samuel and whose feelings are expressed in the Psalms, gave honor and glory to God in every aspect of his life. David personified the fullness of eternal life!

He had a fullness of heart for loving and giving; a fullness of mind for aspiring to great and mighty thoughts; a fullness of courage to overcome the enemy and achieve his destiny; and a fullness of faith to have fellowship with the Lord and attain the full measure of his inheritance. He was fearless in battle, righteous in leadership and obedient in worship before the Lord. David danced before the Lord with all His might. This is the message of Time To Dance.
